Goal Setting

Here are some question(s) to reflect upon….perhaps they will help put things in perspective

·       What am I most proud of accomplishing over the course of my life?

· What are the top 3 impressions that I want people to associate with me?

I find a little retrospection to be great to either keep things on track or find a new path.  These are the ultimate questions in guiding your actions.before it is too late.

When I think about my accomplishments I can name a few key things that stand out in my life to date.  This inevitably gets me thinking about other things I want to accomplish prior to my departure from our great earth. Even this question regarding the impressions that I want people to remember.words like honorable, hard working, happy, kind.these are the impressions I know I want to make.how do we ensure that this is accomplished.

I would love to hear your thoughts or comments.

Walking on my hands….

Alright so this seems like a ridiculous goal but for whatever reason I have always envied those that could do it.and I could never come close.

I have beenCrossfitting seriously for about 6 months now and my hand stand skills are coming along nicely.  What sort of goals do you set for yourself outside of work?

My goal setting strategy surrounds having work goals, personal goals (walking on hands is one) and family goals.  How I structure and monitor these goals depends on the level of importance I place on these goals.  I will be honest that walking on my hands is not on the top of the importance list..however it is a goal.  How do you monitor your goals?  I have some great tools for this to come shortly!
